Rajesh L,
Research Scholar

My passion towards research started as a student when I was doing my Masters and finally it ended up as a research scholar in the department of Aquatic Biology and Fisheries looking after the diversity of freshwater crabs of Kerala especially in the foothills of Western Ghats, the field was a bit difficult when I started but now I managed to handle the situations and was able to describe one new genus and six new species of crabs from the state. Currently engaged in studying the molecular difference with in the species and between the species and also the behaviour similarity between different species and dissimilarity within a single species. I am also engaged in preparing a model how freshwater crabs will extinct in the future.
