I have born and brought up in Chavara Village in Kollam District. While pursuing my Post Graduation I got fascinated in research and teaching field. After completing my Msc degree I got the KSCSTE Fellowship for research in Taxonomy –Zoology. My research area is Taxonomy of Cephalopods, the most innovatively adapted invertebrates, representing phylum Mollusca. My Guide, Dr. A. Bijkumar’s scholarly guidance, helpful advices, valuable suggestions, delightful encouragement and consistent support helped me to complete my PhD and also select right path in my life. Along with my teaching profession I am actively participating in the biodiversity conservation activities (Convener, Bhoomithra Sena Club, Directorate of Environment and Climate Change, Govt. of Kerala).
