Reshmi R.,
Research Fellow

My interest in observing nature started at school vacations, when I used to go to my home village at Sasthamcotta. My dream to explore the life around was silently kept deep within as the schoolings were strict and time bounded. Spark to my wishes were lightened when I reached master’s degree were I was inspired by the most eminent teacher, a taxonomist, a scientist and above all a true inspiration to his students, Dr. A. Bijukumar. Finally, I was a researcher under his guidance and my area of research interest was in taxonomy and diversity studies of anomuran crabs (Decapoda: anomura). Now continuing small researches along with teaching which is my passion and profession.
