Deepa R. Pillai,
Research Scholar

Interest in taxonomy is generated in me because of my great teacher Dr. A. Bijukumar. His passion and dedication to research motivated me in my field of echinoderm taxonomy. I am just a beginner in this amazing field and love to work on sea cucumbers and brittle stars. One of my greatest dreams is to become a renowned taxonomist in these two groups. As taxonomists are now a rarer group, I am trying to make students get interested in systematic studies of various groups of organisms.
