Regi S.R.,
Research Scholar

Until seventh standard during my schooldays, my ambition was to become an engineer. But, one visit from the school to the Medical Exhibition held at Govt. Medical College, Trivandrum, changed my whole life; I started loving biology, ending up presently teaching Zoology in the college. May be because of the peculiar nature of my genes, every time I would run up to the finishing line, but somebody needs to be there to give a final push to cross the line. Those benevolent pushers whom I ever reverently cherish in my mind include Siby teacher in my KG classes, Lillykutty teacher in primary school, Sathya Kumar sir in high school, Aliyar sir in Pre-degree, Thomas Panicker sir in UG, Babu Philip sir in PG, and Bijukumar sir during my Ph.D. work. I've been much fortunate to work with such an enthusiastic research team led by Biju sir. The real achievement I've gained from working in Aquatic Biodiversity lab is the interest and perseverance to deal with novel unexplored problems. Proud to be part of this wonderful team..!!
